4) Process new account information including ordering checks, verifying eligibility, checking for appropriate signatures, filing cards, mailing welcome letters, etc. Type, laminate, and mail membership cards to members. Print starter or temporary checks for members. Assist members with Instant Issue ATM cards.
5) Prepare coupons for skip-a-pay when sold.
6) Assist members with wire transactions and in closing accounts.
7) Assist members with discrepancies and complaints. Make corrections and refunds on accounts if necessary.
8) Ensure accurate processing of loans by making sure that each one is properly documented, closed, disbursed, coordinated, and filed. Notify auto dealerships of any missing paperwork.
9) Analyze and process consumer loan applications. Pull credit reports for all accounts, verify debts, estimate monthly payment for any outstanding debts not listed and add them to debts on application.
10) Mail loan application and/or information to members and prospective members. Look up NADA values and provide quotes to members.
11) Review delinquency notices for accuracy and mail them as appropriate.
12) Assist member with information as to the status of pending loans. Explain reasons for denial and explore options for members when loans are denied.
13) Assist members and Loan Processors in filing debt protection, credit disability, and credit life insurance claims.
14) Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Enforce strict adherence to established security procedures.
15) Able to assist and backup duties and responsibilities of more senior positions or other positions as needed.
16) Provide organization-wide member service as needed by assisting with functions including, but not limited to: answering member calls, emails, and online chats.
17) Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Position Levels
There are two levels of Relationship Banker, depending on banking experience including client service, deposit, and lending experience. Bankers must demonstrate completion of required training programs, licensing or specialized training, and acceptable performance to goals to be considered for further advancement. Licensing or registrations must be maintained current and in good standing in accordance with program guidelines. Positions may be based at a specific banking center or be a "Market" position that supports all banking centers in a defined market.
Relationship Banker
* Demonstrates ability to handle all transactions, servicing needs and inquiries upon completion of required training.
* Must achieve account opening goals, partner referrals, lending and credit card goals along with completing quality Client Financial Profiles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* High School diploma or GED Equivalent
* Minimum one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience (banking industry a plus)
* Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered.
Relationship Banker II
* Experienced bankers who have successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes, or bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution, including NMLS registered.
* Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships.
* Consistently meets or exceeds account opening and lending goals, credit card goals, partner referrals, and quality Client Financial Profiles.
* May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs.
* Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations.
* Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
