Program Administration Coordination (component proportion 15%) Responsible for the appropriate use of agency resources including, but not limited to, supplies and personnel to ensure financial success. Shares on-call responsibilities, as scheduled. Works to maintain positive, collaborative relationships with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and/or physicians. Maintains availability at all times during his/her scheduled hours of work, either in person or by telecommunications. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education In accordance with licensing regulations, must meet the following criteria: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of practice or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Experience Minimum of two (2) years of active experience as a RN, preferred. Possession of a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health care benefits, policies and procedures preferred. Understanding of Medical Diagnosis Coding, preferred. Skills & Abilities Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn throughout employment. Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff members. Possesses a firm foundation of basic nursing skills. Willingness to learn home health regulatory standards related to job-specific duties, including but not limited to: OASIS, Condition of Participation, state-specific licensing rules, diagnosis coding, and internal policies.
