The Senior Personal Banker is responsible for the achievement of sales targets through superior client service, and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership, relationship management, and a deep understanding of banking products and services tailored to high-net-worth individuals.
Job Responsibilities
Develops and manages new and existing client relationships
Prospect for new client relationships through local community and networking
Keep up to date with local bank competition and community involvement
Act as personal concierge for all private banking clients anticipating their needs and providing service that exceeds expectations.
Keep up to date on all bank products and services by recommending the appropriate products and services for the client.
Meet clients in person or calls, demo products available to the clients, and provide assistance with product setup.
Always ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness through hands-on knowledge and following all policies and procedures.
Team up with internal partners to improve the “client experience,” through continuous improvements.
Meeting established goals by appropriately cross-selling to clients seeking to broaden the range of services provided to both new and existing clients.

Requirements:
College degree in business, related field or equivalent working experience. Diploma or degree in Banking or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience.
Exhibits leadership and management skills that inspire high performance from team members.
Operational knowledge of deposit and cash management banking regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills with both internal and external clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel; knowledge of Salesforce.

* 1+ years of sales and service experience with proven results.
* Experience making effective outbound telephone calls.
* Experience with Real Estate and Consumer Loans.
* Experience with business banking products and relationships.
* Experience with cash handling/teller transactions/loan funding.
* Experience in working in a team environment and developing relationships.
* Excellent listening and speaking skills.
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Computer literacy skills and proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
* Understand and adhere to BSA and OFAC policy and procedures including:
* CTR requirements
* CIP requirements
* CDD requirements
* OFAC verification requirements
* Reporting suspicious activity
* Maintaining records on negotiable instrument
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Notary License, ability to obtain within 120 days of hired.
* CUNA Certification/FiCEP Financial Counseling Certification to obtain within 120 days of hired.
* NMLS - National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry to obtain within 30 days of hired.
* Medallion Stamp Certification to obtain within 120 days of hired.
Travel Details / Schedule:
Travel:
* Required to travel to other Provident locations outside of home branch.
* Required to attend offsite training, meetings, or events.
Work Schedule:
* Full-time; 40 hours a week Monday - Friday, 9:15am - 6:15pm & rotational Saturdays 8:45am - 4:30pm
* Occasionally work early or late hours, and extended weekend hours.

Compensation:
Pay Grade is P1. This position is eligible for our twice a year discretionary bonus.
Targeted Base Pay: 27.50/hr
