Follow operational standards regarding security, risk management, and compliance.
Make sales calls via phone or zoom to clients and/or prospects on a weekly basis to meet calling goals of the branch while recording those calls in the Salesforce.
Ability to interpret data to evaluate for acceptable lending ratios and product and service opportunities.
Must be able to meet scheduled working hours as designated by manager to ensure effective functionality of the branch to meet client needs.
Responsible for meeting Retail Branch Standards which includes dress code.
Will perform special projects as assigned.
Education, Experience and Job Skills:
High School Diploma or GED;
Minimum 1-year work related experience in customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software (Notes, Word, and Excel).

SMW Financial Credit Union has an immediate need for a Universal Banker II/Loan Officer at our Lino Lakes branch. New hires will receive a $1000.00 sign-on bonus ($500 after 90 days, $500 aftwr 180 days). This position is responsible for establishing and strengthening member relationships by acting as a trusted advisor in identifying sales opportunities beneficial to each member. A Universal Banker II is responsible for opening and closing accounts, originating, underwriting and closing loans, cross selling products and services by providing personal and excellent member service. In addition, this position acts as back-up to the frontline staff as business needs dictate.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of banking and lending experience
Background study and credit checks required
Proven sales experience
Previous experience meeting lending goals
Ability and willingness to work out of our Maplewood branch as business needs dictate
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Software
High degree of accuracy and close attention to detail
