The Connections team is looking for a Behavioral Health Provider to fill a full-time position on their Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Connections (CAYAC) team. Behavioral health providers are responsible for providing clinical assessments, brief therapy, care coordination, referrals to outside providers/agencies, and psychoeducation to families who call in seeking mental health and substance use services.
Pay Range and Status
$69,000 - $79,350 per year, depending on qualifications (DOQ)

Education and Experience
Master's degree or higher in a behavioral health discipline.
A Colorado unrestricted license in a behavioral health profession and/or addiction counseling licensure. Licensures include LAC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
A minimum of three years clinical experience in a behavioral health setting is required.
Experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and families is desired.
Three or more years of experience working in community mental health, social work, or another clinical field is desired.

CAYAC helps families who don't know where to turn or how to navigate behavioral health services in the community.
CAYAC provides interim support while families are getting connected with community providers and agencies.
CAYAC gives relief to parents who feel alone and overwhelmed.
CAYAC answers common questions from youth and parents regarding behavioral health diagnosis, navigating health care systems, insurance coverage, etc.
CAYAC provides brief therapy for children and adolescents, parent/caregiver support, and family support when clinically appropriate.

* Base rate + $4.50/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
* For Enterprise Pool Tier 3/Systemwide hires, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Subject to change.
* Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Kansas, and Utah). Dependent on assignment, travel may be eligible for mileage reimbursement and lodging.

Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
* 6 months of hospital or patient care experience, preferred
* Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
* Knowledge of therapeutic interventions. Ability to observe changes in patient behavior, deescalate aggressive or agitated behavior, and anticipate need for further intervention.
* De-escalation training, preferred. De-escalation required if sitting for at risk for harm to self or others within 30 days of hire or transfer
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Basic computer skills
* High School diploma or GED required
* BLS with the American Heart Association Required

The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.
