The PMHI Ambulatory Services has approximately 70 faculty practicing at CHCO, across four campuses (Anschutz Medical Campus, Colorado Springs, North, and South campus), for whom the Section Head will hold primary responsibility.
In addition, the PMHI Section Head of Ambulatory Services will have matrixed responsibilities to over 100 staff employed by CHCO, in collaboration with the PMHI Director of Patient Care Services.
As the largest medical center in the western region providing such broad expertise, CHCO is the referral center for children and adolescents seeking care from a team of specially trained mental health professionals.
Preferred is an individual with an accomplished academic record, demonstrated programmatic leadership, and experience within a high-functioning, diverse, academic pediatric mental health program and team.
The candidate will be responsible for sustaining and growing the Section, managing system of care clinical practice sites, enhancing multi-disciplinary quality and research programs, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
