Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly Responsibilities: Facilitate personal care tasks like scheduling appointments, calling doctors' offices, coordinating Medicare and other insurance details Ensure quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and family members Drive patients as needed, for grocery shopping, running errands, or doctors' visits, when necessary Implement care plans as directed by the case manager, and keep updated and accurate care records Stay on top of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to laundry, bed making, vacuuming, etc. Administer Medications: Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake. Resident Response: Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care. Light Housekeeping: Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space. Service Charting: Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards. Assistance with ADLs: Support residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to each individual's Client Service Plan, with a zero-tolerance policy for missed tasks. Qualifications: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, you may also be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills 1-3 years of experience as an HHA/ home health aide, personal caregiver, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency, at patient homes or care facilities settings is needed Possess a valid state driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required - some college is an asset Extreme Ownership: Demonstrates accountability, ownership of outcomes, and proactively removes obstacles.
