Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Detroit, MI, for a Pediatric Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to pediatric neurosurgery patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting patient assessments, creating treatment plans, and offering post-operative care. The role also involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and delivering education to patients and families regarding neurological conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Medicine, Primary Care, and Critical Care Medicine
Active licensure as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Experience in pediatric healthcare or neurosurgery is a plus

What You'll Need:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience in a direct caregiving role preferred but not required.
* Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.
* Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system preferred.
