Assures that goals and approaches from resident care plan are conveyed to and implemented by the nursing staff. Observes direct care administered by staff ensuring safe, effective care is given in a timely manner as well as completion of other assigned duties. Audits documentation of medical records on a routine basis and reports findings to the DON. Monitors nursing discipline assignments to ensure completed resident assignments, plus additional duties as indicated. Observes staff adherence to resident rights policies.
