Job Responsibilities: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be responsible for: Assisting clients with training and support in social interaction skills (e.g., talking, writing, leisure activities), treatment toward self and others, and daily living skills (e.g., dressing, bathing, toileting/changing attends, eating, cooking, menu planning, cleaning, etc.) Administering medications in accordance with State of Colorado approved guidelines. Ensuring client schedules are implemented in a timely manner as designated by the Service Plan (SP) and/or the Manager. Observing clients for signs of illness or changes in health, demeanor, and behavior, and reporting concerns according to protocols. Transporting clients using agency vehicles to and from day programming, community employment, community activities, and appointments. Ensuring a clean, healthy, and safe environment for the individuals served.
