WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Responsible for promoting a safe, supportive and quality living environment to a population of homeless adults. * Will work in partnership with the team by engaging with the shelter guests and drop-in center participants and assisting them in carrying out activities of daily living as well as responsible for providing direct supervision of guests, participants and visitors. * Will monitor to ensure that the facility provides a safe, welcoming and clean environment. * In order to enhance the shelter guests' level of independence and socialization, will ensure that shelter rooms and common areas are clean and maintained on a regular basis. * Offer compassionate and non-judgmental support to shelter guests MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's in Human Services or related field, or High School Diploma/Equivalency with 4 years of job-related experience working with persons experiencing homelessness or behavioral health needs OR High School Diploma/Equivalency and be a Certified Peer Specialist. * Act 33/34/73 clearances * Pre-Employment Drug Screen POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS Work Schedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position Full Time: 37.5 hour work week - (Tuesday/Wednesday off) 3p-11p Hours may vary according to program need.
