The Driscoll Health System is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider to join a dynamic team of medical professionals in Pediatric Neurosurgery. The qualified candidate will have completed an approved PA or NP program and must be certified and licensed to practice in the state of Texas (or be able to obtain), a minimum 3 years of operating experience (any surgical specialty) preferred. Pediatric experience is not required, neurosurgery training will be provided. About the Role As an Advanced Practice Provider at Arroyo Vista Family Medicine, you are an integral part of the patient care team providing quality, preventive-focused health care services to patients. Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) - Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery The Driscoll Health System is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery clinic. This role is open to new PA graduates, and no prior orthopedic experience is required, though it is preferred. A Texas license must be in place before the start date. About the Role This provider will work closely with our orthopedic surgeons to support the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of pediatric patients. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting patient histories, performing assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of care plans. The APP will assist with or perform orthopedic castings and limited procedures within the scope of approved privileges. Travel to our satellite clinics is part of the role. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with limited weekend call.
