Detailed Duties:
Coaching
Greet athletes emphatically and immediately
Work hard to coach and train athletes using the CrossFit methodologies
Execute group programming including warm up sequences
Ensure consistency in movement standards and scaled options for all movements
Execute opening and/or closing procedures
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients to enhance their gym experience
Prepare for each coaching session ensuring correct coaching points for each movement and all scaled options for prescribed movements
Normal stuff like attendance check-ins and social posts to celebrate members wins

Promote and exemplify principles of the box.
Create a welcoming, friendly and encouraging environment for all athletes.

Facility
Coordinate logistics to ensure efficient operation of gym space and experience.
Ensure correct Opening or Closing of Gym on a daily basis.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of gym; follow established cleaning checklist. (Coaches are not our cleaning service, but make sure the environment is tidy for our members)
Assist in maintenance of equipment as needed; communicate any equipment repairs needed to the owner.
Communicate equipment purchase recommendations to Owner.
Follow-up with new and current athletes per the round robin schedule.
Monitor inventory levels and report needs to the owner.
Leadership
Participate and lead staff meetings and events.
Lead and supervise group coaching sessions.
Ensure you consistently demonstrate the core values of the box.
Ensure athletes are achieving results and feel empowered and supported.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and athletes.
Support staff to comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Develop an effective and positive work environment for staff and athletes.
Preferred Education
Educational background in Exercise Science and/or nutrition.
Olympic lifting, Kettlebell, Endurance, or other related training certifications are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience:
* 1 year of personal training experience

* Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
* Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay

Qualifications
Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (preferred)
CPR/AED certification (preferred)
1-3 yrs of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
Essential Physical Requirements

Job Summary:
The Fitness Trainer is responsible for creating a safe, effective, and engaging fitness environment for club members and guests. The role helps with supervising exercise programs, educating members on proper techniques, and developing personalized fitness plans tailored to individual goals and needs. In addition to offering expert guidance, the Fitness Trainer will actively promote the club's services and facilities, ensuring a positive experience for all. By consistently delivering the 3-steps of service-Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells-you will contribute to a supportive and motivating atmosphere for members and guests.
Reporting Structure
* Reports to the Fitness Manager or Fitness Director
Day-to-Day
* Assist in the exercise and fitness areas of the club, including supporting members and guests with their exercise and fitness programs.
* Evaluate member/guest fitness needs and provide the appropriate exercise program for meeting those needs, including providing personal instruction if necessary.
* Conduct new Member Fit Start appointments in accordance with club standards and track accordingly. Connect with members regularly and promote fitness activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells.
* Update fitness activities and programming on web page and/or member communication board, as applicable.
* Promote the facility amenities, programs and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies, and standards of the club.
* Maintain current fitness-related certifications including CPR/AED and actively seek new education opportunities that are presented through Invited partnerships.
* Ensure that daily assignments are effectively completed in designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces, arranging and tidying entry areas, and properly stocking and organizing equipment and materials.
* Responsible for daily processing of all accounting procedures around personal training and or group session(s) accurately.
* Submit monthly forecasts for expected sessions, Fit Starts and New Client goals.
* Maintain an up-to-date schedule of availability to ensure accuracy.
Additional Duties
* Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
* Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
* Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
* Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
* Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
* Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success. To evaluate Member/Guest fitness needs and provide the appropriate exercise program for meeting those needs, including providing personal instruction.
About you
Required
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Fitness Trainer, demonstrating proficiency in developing and leading personalized fitness programs.
* Current personal training certifications: ACSM, NASM, ACE, PTA Global, NFPT, ISSA, CSCS or NSCA.
* Certification in CPR, First Aid and AED within the last 6 months as well as being a certified group exercise instructor with AFAA or ACE.
Preferred
* A college degree in health, fitness, exercise science, or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate clients.
* Ability to assess individual fitness levels and develop tailored exercise programs.

Job Summary
Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
Assist in front desk related activities including:
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members into the system.
New member sign-up.
Take potential members on tours.
Changing/updating member account information
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.
