RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.

Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.

This training provides graduates with the education and skills they need to pass the state exam and start a rewarding career as a Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) with GRH. Selected applicants will interview with Human Resources and the Nursing Assistant Supervisor. If chosen for the program, the student must commit to become an employee of Glencoe Regional Health upon completion of the program. This stipend represents time spent completing online learning modules, hands-on skills learning, and practical training. Required Qualifications
Current certification in Group Fitness or Personal Training from a nationally accredited body (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, AFAA)
CPR/AED certification and basic first aid training
Minimum 1+ year of experience teaching group fitness classes
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to participant needs
Passion for movement, fitness, and community building
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of group fitness instruction
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
CSCS certification
TRX, Barre, Mat Pilates Certification
Personal training experience
