RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Be Doing
Manage many of the daily administrative functions related to maintaining and developing the Spooner FIT (Functional Integrated Training) Program.
Develop in-depth knowledge of Spooner products and services outside the scope of the FIT Program for optimal delivery and presentation of information to both internal and external sources for credibility and marketing potential.
Consistently attain knowledge of new exercises, techniques, research, and customization of exercise routines for optimal patient/client outcomes and staff education and implements testing for measurement of results as applicable.
Implement appropriate safeguards and risk management strategies during training sessions, maintaining secure and safe treatment areas and a working environment free of hazardous conditions in accordance to SPTs Safety and Illness and Injury Prevention Program.
Assist FIT gym members (in applicable locations) with questions or training, and orients newcomers to the FIT Program.
Log and track FIT Program revenue, communicating information to accounting and patient services coordinators as required.
Maintain open communications with Clinic Director and Coordinator of FIT, supporting the decision-making process, the organization's strategic planning goals, and the values promoted by the organization. Development of relationships with both internal and external customers to a higher level of customer service is essential to the success of this role.
Meet regularly with the Clinic Director, as appropriate, reporting progress and accountability for meeting or exceeding goal expectations.
Collaborate with the entire FIT/Performance department to elevate the client experience and ensure ongoing clinical development.
Commit to compliance with all state and federal labor and employment laws, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA, as required.

What You Bring to the Role
Bachelor's degree in fitness, sports, wellness, or health related field.
NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), preferred. NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), or Athletic Training License (ATC) suitable for hire.
A minimum of 2 years' experience treating patients/clients preferred.
Valid Arizona driver's license and state required automobile insurance.
CPR certification.
Required skills include excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, organizational skills, computer literacy, highly motivated with positive energy, and strong marketing abilities.

Qualifications
The position has a requirement of a shared experience. A shared experience is defined as personally (or a family member) utilizing privately or publically funded behavioral health services, to include substance abuse treatment or having a family perspective of recovery.
Experience and/or education totaling one year related to health and wellness education
Completion of Peer Support Training and Peer Support Certification
Current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance card
Must be at least 21 years of age
Background Check
Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
