General Purpose:
Responsibilities include providing personalized private and semi-private training to members specific to their needs and capabilities. Ensuring cleanliness, assist with day to day operations of the fitness center, facility and equipment; and ensuring that the physical environment is pleasing to the members.
Essential Duties: Comprehensive knowledge of fitness and exercise principles
* Friendly, outgoing personality
* Schedule appointments for personal training, massage and babysitting.
* Check members in, process charges to members' accounts.
* Assist Director of Fitness in office administration
* Able to teach in absence of another trainer, conduct group classes if needed.

* Knowledge of major health risk factors and reduction strategies
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Education/Experience:
NSCA or NASM certification with up to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be experienced in conducting fitness assessments and have knowledge and be able to modify exercise and training for high-risk members.
Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively, English is required to give instruction, print and speak.
Physical Demands:
Must be in good physical condition to teach classes and use equipment. Frequently stands and walks; uses hands to finger, feel or handle; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, sits, talks or hears. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Vision Requirements:
Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.
Environment/Noise:
Frequently works in air conditioned and heated conditions (non-weather). Regularly works inside. Noise level is moderate, but frequent noise from fitness equipment and machinery.
Certificates/Licenses:
Certification as a Health and Fitness Specialist/Coach/Trainer, CPR and First Aid.

DUTIES AND TASKS
As a Certified Fitness Coach, you'll deliver personalized fitness instruction either one-on-one or one-on-two, directly at clients' homes, apartment gyms, or outdoor locations, inspiring and guiding them to achieve their fitness objectives. Your key responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:

Primary Responsibilities
Administer InBody evaluations and EMS personal training sessions
Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards
Provide a high level of personalized attention to members
Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs and products
Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
Adjust and operate all EMS and Fitness Equipment to BODY20 standards
Attend all Fitness Coach related meetings/Trainings
Participate in marketing activities during down time, such as distributing flyers or also making educative video contents for the social media pages
Keep training area clean
Ask members for referrals and reviews

Qualifications
Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (preferred)
CPR/AED certification (preferred)
1-3 yrs of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess honesty and personal integrity
Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
Essential Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time

Job Title: Personal Trainer Company: Cowboys Fit Directly Reports to: Fitness Manager Department: Fitness POSITION OVERVIEWThe Personal Trainer is a member of Cowboys Fit team and plays a key role in the company's overall success by servicing clients and fitness programming, which includes personal training, group training, recovery, supplement sales, member integration and support. In addition to the primary roles and responsibilities described within, each team member embraces and follows the guidelines outlined and plays a vital role in the success of the fitness department, club, and company. The Fitness Team must always represent the company while they are in the clubs and must maintain a professional manner in dealing with fellow staff, members, and guests. Members of the Fitness Team are encouraged to communicate ideas on best practices to their leaders as well as colleagues in other departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Member Relations
Create a customer service focused environment and ensure superior customer service through leading by example
Work with the sales team to integrate members into the club in a timely manner
Sincerely acknowledge members/guests and be professional in your personal presentation
Remain well trained and knowledgeable about the company, our services, promotions, and business practices in order to provide members and guests with consistent and accurate information while meeting their specific needs
Committed to listening to members and guest in order to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
2. Performance
Execute member communication initiatives that increase member retention, satisfaction and participation in revenue producing services
Minimum of 50 sessions, $1500 in training sales, and $150 in supplements per month
Achieve financial performance results through the generation of ancillary service revenues and member retention
Be proficient in appropriate club software systems (ABC, Outlook, MyZone, etc.)
All team members are responsible for maintaining their certifications (i.e. PT, CPR/AED) while employed at Cowboys Fit. Submit all paperwork associated with those certifications. Certifications must be accredited through a nationally recognized organization
3. Equipment & Facilities
Notify the corporate facilities department when physical plant repairs and maintenance are needed and serve as an advocate for getting these issues resolved in a timely manner
Maintain and implement an equipment cleaning schedule and overall maintenance checklist to ensure all equipment is working and operating
Maintain a safe, clean, and esthetically appealing physical environment
4. Team Member Relations
Work in partnership with other members of the Cowboys Fit team and as an integrated member of the Cowboys Fit Community. Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the department and club, as well as the overall success of the business
Actively participate in meetings and company-wide initiatives and provide feedback and ideas for improving and building all aspects of the business
Work as part of the overall team by respecting, supporting, and encouraging your co-workers, assisting co-workers and other departments when necessary, and approaching challenges in a creative, positive, and team centered manner
