Job DescriptionOur fitness studio is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. Responsibilities:
Teach clients proper technique for all exercises, especially those requiring more complex equipment, to reduce injury risk
Monitor clients' progress and adjust their fitness plans accordingly
Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
Perform personal fitness assessments to ensure that all exercise routines are appropriate for each client
Maintain all gym standards and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while working out
Conducting Initial Fitness and Quarterly Goal Assessments.
Leading group, semi-private, and personal training sessions providing progressions and regression for all skill levels.
Contributing to the company goals of
Assess, create, and deliver individual workout programs for in-person 1-on-1 clients and semi-private clients.
Deliver safe and effective workouts to individuals and groups no larger than 12 people.
Attend monthly staff meetings and required educational presentations.
Handle member concerns when applicable.
Assist with sales, new client consults, and qualify new members as needed.
Qualifications:
Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
Must possess a current certification as a fitness instructor or personal trainer
Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
Must hold current fitness certification / personal trainer certification from an accredited agency such as ACE NASM, AFAA, ACSM OR obtain within 3 months of working at Studio ME. We are willing to train the right candidate.
A Bachelor's in exercise-related field is preferred but not required.
Current CPR/AED Certification OR obtain within 3 months of working at Studio ME.
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
Preferred but not required: 1+ years experience training clients one-on-one. Bonus if experience teaching small group/semi-private classes.
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities
Learn and perform standard 25 and 50 minute one on one stretch sessions. Stretches will include all major muscle groups, plus extremities, the longer stretches will include work on the small muscle groups and the neck
If warranted, customize a stretch session to fit the individual needs of the client
Assess each clients' bodies, needs and discuss outcome goals with the client.
Be able to discuss, recommend, and help promote future visits and membership options with clients
Provide exceptional customer service and deliver a high-end experience to every client
Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads
Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments
Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
Handle member concerns when applicable
Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention
Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Requirements:
Love of boutique fitness environment is a must - passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
Currently have a nationally certified and/or licensed as a physical therapist, chiropractor, personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, or another form of specialized health & fitness
2 years previous experience in either a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting
Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals
Ability to successfully perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups (this is a physically demanding position, must be able to lift minimum 25-30 lbs above the head with ease)
Desire to continually learn new principles in the areas of stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health and nutrition
Hands on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, Kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention, athletic training are a plus

We are looking for energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Fitness Coach, reporting to the Studio Manager at BODY20. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Administer InBody evaluations and EMS personal training sessions
Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards
Provide a high level of personalized attention to members
Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products

This will require significant use of hands, arms, and body for 30-60 minutes at various degrees of physical assertion, as well as the ability to lift up to 20 pounds (depending on the class) to set up and put away equipment.

Occasional local travel between centers and/or other locations within the community may be required.
