RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software

Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.

Personal Trainer Job Description:
Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate and manage personal training department.
Facilitate integration of Personal Training and packages sold.
Train & develop Membership Counselors regarding fitness and supplementation presentations, emphasizing the impact of these on membership retention.
Develop weekly work schedules for fitness staff ensuring that staff properly records their Time & Labor.
Conduct weekly (or as-needed) meeting as a manager with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
Helping members set and achieve goals
Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren't
Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
Being a team player
Availability to coach a minimum of 8 classes/week

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
: Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness: ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA; current AED/CPR certificate; 10+ hours per year in continuing education units outside of OTF curriculum
Knowledge + Experience:
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; functional understanding of heart rate-based training; 2 years of experience as a group or individual personal trainer preferred; Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task; excellent customer service skills; team player mindset
