RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified PersonalTrainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified PersonalTrainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.

Glencoe Regional Health (GRH) offers a free Nursing Assistant training program that works with your busy lifestyle. This program is a combination of online and in-person/hands on learning. The online portion offers flexibility so you can complete the course content when it works for you! The hands-on skills and supervised practical learning are completed right on our campus. This training provides graduates with the education and skills they need to pass the state exam and start a rewarding career as a Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) with GRH. Selected applicants will interview with Human Resources and the Nursing Assistant Supervisor. If chosen for the program, the student must commit to become an employee of Glencoe Regional Health upon completion of the program. Once employed, and upon successful completion of the 90-day orientation period requirements, each student is then eligible for a $1500 stipend. This stipend represents time spent completing online learning modules, hands-on skills learning, and practical training. There is no cost to the student to participate in the program, which can be up to a $1,000+ value!

* 28 hours of hands-on skills learning takes place in a specialized training area on our Glencoe Regional Health campus

Qualifications:
Passion for Health & Fitness: This is where it all begins!
Good Communication Skills: You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone, know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear instructions to the clients.
People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people! This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show your clients energy and excitement while working with them.
We require a commitment of 1 yr to this position.

The Exercise Coach, a hi-tech fitness and health studio, is adding a part-time Fitness Coach for the Eagan studio.
Fitness experience is a plus but our specialized training and certification will be provided. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, enjoys one-on-one conversation and relationships, and is passionate about good health. Ideal candidates will be interested in growing with us.

Our studio offers a casual, fun environment, using top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment. Each coach works with just one person at a time, or a small group of 2-4 people, guiding and motivating them, as well as keeping sharp eyes for form, challenges and safety. The equipment keeps track of their progress over time so that you can work with them to achieve the results they're looking for. In addition to training our clients, all employees will share responsibility for communicating with prospects, clients, and scheduling.
Coach Responsibilities and Duties
Perform Fitness Evaluations
Educate/Coach clients
Demonstrate Proper Exercise Instruction
Provide Ongoing Health and Fitness Education
Track Client Progress
Lead Follow Up
Facilitate Consultations
**All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies. **

High School Graduate (Required)
Education in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy (Plus)
AED/CPR Certification (Required before certification in our studio)
Experience:
Customer Service experience
Coaching or Training (Plus)
