In addition to the primary roles and responsibilities described within, each team member embraces and follows the guidelines outlined and plays a vital role in the success of the fitness department, club, and company. The Fitness Team must always represent the company while they are in the clubs and must maintain a professional manner in dealing with fellow staff, members, and guests. Members of the Fitness Team are encouraged to communicate ideas on best practices to their leaders as well as colleagues in other departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Member Relations · Create a customer service focused environment and ensure superior customer service through leading by example· Work with the sales team to integrate members into the club in a timely manner· Sincerely acknowledge members/guests and be professional in your personal presentation· Remain well trained and knowledgeable about the company, our services, promotions, and business practices in order to provide members and guests with consistent and accurate information while meeting their specific needs· Committed to listening to members and guest in order to understand their needs and exceed their expectations

4. Team Member Relations · Work in partnership with other members of the Browns Fit team and as an integrated member of the Browns Fit Community. Anytime Fitness is currently seeking qualified personal trainers who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients. As an AF Personal Trainer, you will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercises for a wide variety of participants. The desired candidate must have a passion for helping people become the best versions of themselves by helping people make incremental lifestyle changes to obtain sustainable and long-term results.

Fitness Consultations

Responsibilities
Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 4+ members
Program and implement individualized workouts for members
Energize and motivate members throughout the sessions
Build fitness attendance and retain current members
Ensure the safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise technique
Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
Attend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
Handle member concerns when applicable
Sales and Marketing for Programming
Proactive outreach to inactive members
Assist in retention efforts
Provide exceptional member service
Qualifications
Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Must acquire a fitness certification/personal trainer certification within 90 days of hire from an AF fitness-approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, NSCA, etc.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
Manage time and schedules
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Yoga Instructors
Ideal candidate will have at least 200 - 500 hours yoga teacher training certification required. Must have strong sequencing skills, at least 2 years of teaching experience, and 5 years of a personal practice. Instructor will require necessary experience in working with varying fitness levels and the ability to offer variations for poses to suite individual needs. A strong sense of community and ability to grow following a must. Skill set to include training in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara, or Ariel Yoga, lyengar methodologies ideal, others will still be considered.
Group Fitness Instructors
Instructor must be certified with 2-years experience teaching one or more class styles including Boot Camps, Interval Training, Tabata, HITT, Barr Classes, Cycling Classes, Pilates and more. Virtual class experience a plus.
Personal Trainers
Trainer must have a minimum 2-years experience with CPR and CPT instructor certification from a reputable national accredited agency. Must have experience working with a variety of fitness levels and ages involving weight loss, strength and muscle gain, general cardiovascular and sport specific training. Background in Functional Training and Post-Rehabilitation a plus.
