RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.
Requirements for this position include the possession of personal basic training equipment to effectively assist clients in achieving their goals. It is important to note that clients may not always have access to the necessary equipment.

Clothing should be appropriate fitness attire. It should not prohibit participants from seeing proper form, alignment and movement of the body. However, clothing should not be revealing in an inappropriate manner. When possible, Group Exercise teachers should wear Company branded attire. Proper footwear should be worn at all times.
Prepare appropriate music for class. If using multiple tapes, ensure everything is rewound and ready to play when needed. Refrain from using music with offensive language.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
Check in participants to verify membership.
During Class Responsibilities:
Introduce yourself and the format of the class.
Inquire if there are any “first-timers” in the group and if so, assess their fitness level in as private a manner as possible.
Make sure all verbal instructions are clear and that the volume, tempo of music and overall atmosphere is conducive to hearing, teaching, learning and having fun.
Continually monitor participants to ensure all participants are using correct form. Offer variations of the routine to accommodate all aerobics levels.
Create a motivational and fun environment for all participants.
After Class Responsibilities:
Remove all music.
Make sure room is in order for the next class to begin.
Answer any questions/concerns participants may have.
Solicit feedback from participants about the class.
Complete/turn in roster to managers office.
Additional Responsibilities:
Make sure that class begins and ends promptly. If necessary, make adjustments to the flow of the class to ensure adherence to the schedule.
If the Group Exercise Instructor is teaching the last class of the day, please follow proper closing procedures as outlined by the Group Exercise Director for the individual gym.
In the event that a Group Exercise Instructor cannot fulfill a scheduled class, it is his/her responsibility to find a qualified/approved substitute and notify the Group Exercise Director if there is a problem finding a substitute.
Group Exercise Instructors must be dependable and consistent in their class schedules. Anyone committing to teach a class should make all arrangements so that substitutes or cancellations are a rare occurrence.
Attend all required staff meetings as necessary.
Ensure that proper time recording procedures are followed correctly and in a timely manner.
Prepare any incident and/or witness reports as necessary in the event of accidents.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards his/her responsibilities, fellow employees, and members.

BARRE:
LIFE BARRE: Strength & Grace Align.
LIFE BARRE classes are rooted deeply in ballet with movements that stem from traditional ballet form. The high reps of precise isometric movements on and off the bar engage muscles in a way that our other strength classes can't. Our LIFE BARRE classes will help our members to stand taller and activate their full range of motion.
CYCLE:

AMP blurs the lines between exercise and entertainment, creating an immersive experience where the beat sets the pace of the pedals and energy in the room fuels choreographed movement.
EDG: Find your EDG with Music and Metrics
EDG is where rhythm meets results for the ultimate fusion of music, metrics, and technology. Intentional sets of work are synced to a heart pounding soundtrack, challenging your speed, strength, and stamina while you are coached and inspired on a journey to peak performance. Riders can expect exhilarating classes that help them unleash their inner athlete and push them to their EDG.

Dance knows no boundaries and neither do we. Our dance classes celebrate diversity in all its forms. From Hip Hop to Latin Fusion to musical theater and everything in between. YOGA: Learn to Control the Reactions of the Mind.
SURRENDER YIN
A slow, meditative, yin-yoga practice to create greater mobility in your joints while you mindfully stress your body's connective tissues and challenge the calmness of your mind. You will be guided through a sequence of yin poses as you concentrate on your breath.
ROOT HATHA
Learn to master the reactions of your mind by focusing on radical self-acceptance and utilizing the union of opposites. This Hatha yoga experience will help you feel more grounded and inspire acute muscle engagement to create greater stability in the joints of your body. With a heavy focus on your body and a slow, complete breath you will learn to mindfully engage your muscles to support your body with integrity.
FLOW VINYASA
This breath centered Vinyasa Flow class takes you through a series of yoga poses and opportunities to celebrate yourself through the empowerment and freedom of movement. Sequences are designed to get you moving, then set you free. This energizing class promotes physical strength, mobility, and mental clarity, drawing on your breath as your inner source of focus.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
* Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
* Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes.
* Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
* Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
* Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while specifically encouraging participation for the Classes at Life Time
Position Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1 or more years of fitness instructor work experience
* CPR/AED Certification
* Minimum of one of the following Group Exercise Certifications: National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Aerobic Association (AFAA), Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA)
* Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling.
* Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
* Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned class.
Pay
This position pays a class rate between $30.00 and $65.00, based on experience, qualifications, and duration of the class. The class rate compensates for all working time associated with teaching classes (including without limitation, all time spent in class as well as all pre- and post-class working time).

What You'll Do
