Pest control technician job description

Job DescriptionJob Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $3,000.00/month, plus 15% commission on any sales to new or current customers.

Looking for a pest control technician in one of the fastest growing pest control companies in the nation. This position is in the Kansas City area. We are a high energy, fast paced company that looks for candidates that exhibit honesty, energy and dedication to supporting company goals. Experience in industries such as pest control, lawn care, construction, HVAC, or general labor is preferred.
Requirements:


Be age 21 or over Have valid drivers license No serious incidents on driving record Pass criminal background check Graduated high school or equivalent Previous pest control experience and licensing can be helpful but not required

Entails:


Driving and maintaining company truck with equipment Using software on a company tablet Performing general pest services. Performing inspections for new and current customers and offering solutions to current and future problems Working 6 days ~8-10 hours a day during summer season (Sunday is a mandatory day off company wide) and in off season 5 days Monday through Saturday ~8 hours a day on average (September - March generally)

Experience in the pest control industry is helpful, but not required. The company provides intensive and thorough training on an ongoing basis to all employees. A strong work ethic and commitment to customer service are required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
Be customer service oriented at all times
Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work

Qualifications for this position include:

High school diploma or GED
Acceptable driving record and background check
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
Strong customer service skills
Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation
