Work/life balance
VP and regional manager know nothing about veterinary medicine. They have no understanding of what problems are happening Onsite. The radiation oncologist I worked with made bad decisions and was never Onsite so didn’t see the consequences.
The pay was not bad and not working weekends was nice
I didn’t like them. Out of touch and not showing up in person to your teams is not working well. They follow numbers very closely.
I would change the model completely. Remote specialist and telehealth may have been good during Covid, but not now. SRT should be done with the resources that a university has and not with small teams all on different islands. Partner hospitals hate PetCure because they are responsible many times for follow up in ER after hours and don’t know what to do.
Just learned about SRT and indications for it.
Good. The benefits were nice although difficult to take time off as there is nobody to cover.
Not too good. I think most people in leadership roles are of European heritage with one African American.
The animals and the people that care for them.
