Responsible for distributing customer orders for all Peterson “street” business in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Preserve truck and product in good condition.
Deliver to correct accounts in a timely manner.
Pick up and load product/backhaul per returned product procedures and credit procedures.
Establish and maintain effective and friendly customer relations with accounts serviced on routes.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English in both written and verbal medium.

Ability to learn and read detailed paperwork, product codes, and manage a large volume of information at the same time.
While sedentary in driving, this position is highly physical at each customer stop involving constant standing, bending, walking, moving product, etc. Frequently operates in a warehouse temperature environment and outdoor elements when transporting product from truck to customer location.
Utilizes fingers, hands, wrists, and arms constantly to load, unload, stocking and driving.
Frequent lifting of product ranging from 2 lbs. to 80 lbs. Consistent use of hand truck to move product up/down ramps, tight spaces and other areas that can range from 50 to 300 lbs.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
Shift times: 4-10 hour shifts
4:00 AM - Finish, End time varies.
Pay is expected to start between $25 - $27 per hour

What to expect?
CDL Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
On a daily basis our drivers:
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To drive for POOLCORP you need:
To be at least 21 years old.
A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license, preferably with HAZMAT endorsement but not required.
A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

What to expect?
CDL Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
On a daily basis our drivers:
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To drive for POOLCORP you need:
To be at least 21 years old.
A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement.

Job Summary: The Driver must inspect and safely operate community vehicles/van(s) ensuring the safe loading/unloading and timely delivery of residents to their outings/appointments in compliance with all traffic laws, safety guidelines, current federal, state, and local standards and regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties:
- Schedule and safely transport residents, obeying all traffic laws, to doctor appointments, local outings/excursions and other planned trips as directed by the Director of Resident Enrichment
- Assist with the safe loading and seating of residents onto and off of the community vehicles(s) making certain that all residents are properly secured before driving.
- Conduct daily inspection and safety checks on vehicle(s) before the first use and following the final use of the day. Schedule regular maintenance of all community vehicles as necessary
- Ensure that the community vehicle/van(s) are in proper operational order, registration and insurance information is present and up-to-date and promptly report any/all safety, mechanical or maintenance issues to supervisor
- Maintain communication with the property through use of cell phone or other means to always keep in contact on resident location and status as necessary
- Assist with scheduling outings and/or medical appointments as needed, planned property activities and programs within the community between vehicle trips and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or the Executive Director
- Perform day-to-day clerical work Team Members with the position including tracking trips/residents, logging maintenance checks, et.
- Understand and fulfill all State, Federal and local regulations for maintaining safe vehicles, securing all required credentials/licensing for vehicle(s) a driver(s)

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:
Load materials and equipment for safe transport to the job site or to technician and installers homes
Safely unload materials and/or equipment
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel vehicle(s) as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking all incoming material
Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
Assist installers with the movement or staging of off loaded materials and equipment
Wash assigned vehicles as weather and operating conditions require to maintain a clean vehicle
Follow the regular vehicle maintenance schedule provided by your supervisor
Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested
Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, etc.
Inventory unit at delivery with install apprentice and report results to Project Manager
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A background in warehouse operations
Experience in logistics including shipping, receiving and delivery
Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to truck driving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid writing and grammar skills
Highly organized
Ability to work harmoniously with the public and co-workers
Ability to successfully prioritize and meet deadlines
Punctual and reliable
Strong attention to details and accuracy

The Role

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
The safe and timely transportation of hazardous material to and from our site.
Driving, loading, and unloading trailers, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment. Must be able to lift or move up to 65 lbs.
Ensure that all shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, shipping orders or freight bills, etc.) required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered.
Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
Maintain excellent customer relations.
Support and participate in Environmental, Safety and Health and quality department programs and requirements.
Coordinate all local inbound/outbound routes to maximize freight efficiency.
Batch processing and liquid production of solvents. Loading and offloading of bulk chemical solvents and blends into tanker trucks, holding vessels, railcars, and drums. Monitoring of tank truck and railcar loading and unloading.
Handling and maintenance of equipment such as pneumatic sanitary pumps, hoses, and filter housings.
Forklift and pallet jack operation.
Prepare production processes by studying work orders, setting systems and controls. Produce solvents and solvent blends by initiating, monitoring, and controlling raw material processing.
Maintaining quality standards by collecting samples, completing quality assurance tests, and adjusting process controls.
Maintain processing system by investigating warnings and malfunctions, obtaining, or performing required maintenance service on production equipment.
Cleaning-up after processing.
Improve processing systems by identifying problems, evaluating, and recommending new techniques.
Maintain processing environment by following safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
Complying with legal state and federal regulations.
Make the necessary decisions to ensure production targets are met to effectively keep operations on track.
Be safety focused, knowledge of 5S, and Lean Initiatives helpful.
Ability to follow all procedures, work instructions, batch / work orders, special instructions, and finished goods analysis sheets.
REQUIREMENTS
High School graduate or GED required
Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations
Must have a valid state issued drivers' license and clean driving record
California state Class B Commercial License with HazMat endorsements or ability to obtain one
Two to three years of previous manufacturing operations experience required.
Must be able to work with other people in a fast-paced team environment
Must be able to lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Must pass physical and drug screen as specified by corporate and DOT guidelines
Must meet CFR 49 requirements including the following
Read and speak English to engage with the public
Understand highway signs and signals
Respond to inquiries from law enforcement and other authorities
Accurately complete necessary documentation and reports

As a Delivery Driver, you will transport all product lines of contract office furniture to customers in a timely and professional manner. The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, verifying orders, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with all traffic and company safety regulations.
