1969

1969 PetroChoice was founded as Tri-County Petroleum, Inc. (“TCP”) in 1969, initially operating as a heating oil company.

1976

1976 TCP began its focus on commercial and industrial lubricant products and developed the mini-bulk distribution method, an important part of the company’s solutions offering.

1977

The Riddlesburg, PA distribution facility was built in 1977 and housed TCP’s headquarters.

1993

1993 PetroChoice and ExxonMobil formed a strategic alliance and PetroChoice received the ExxonMobil Area of Best Efforts designation in the Mid-Atlantic region.

2009

2009 The company continued its expansion with the acquisition of Loos & Dilworth in 2009, providing a strong foundation for the PVL business in the Mid-Atlantic.

2012

2012 The company completed the acquisitions of Lorenz Lubricants, Suburban Oil, Best Oil, and Craft Oil Corporation.

2013

2013 PetroChoice completed two separate acquisitions to purchase the assets of US Lubes (North and South). The company also opened a new greenfield branch in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

2014

2014: PetroChoice acquired LubriCorp bringing on 3 new branches in Tennessee.

2015

2015: To increase market share in Philadelphia, PetroChoice acquired Yankee Point Lubricants.

2017

2017: In January, 2017, PetroChoice purchased Miller Industrial Fluids in Indianapolis, IN.
