We have been in business since 1979 with our office located in Curtis Bay, MD. We are an emergency based company, so not all jobs will be scheduled in advance. The purpose of this position is to support a crew that utilizes vacuum trucks and hydro blasters (we will provide training) on a daily basis for necessary routine & restorative maintenance to a number of different industries. Responsibilities Performing industrial maintenance cleaning work, including vacuuming industrial waste/materials (solids, sludges, and liquids), water blast cleaning various surfaces and jetting sewer, water or process lines. Shifts: Monday to Friday and some weekends (various shifts) Essential Duties: Cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, and other surfaces using Plant approved cleaning agents and equipment. Disposing of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with Plant policies and regulatory requirements. Maintaining and cleaning equipment used in the production process, such as motors, pipes, conduits, as well as stairs and cat walks. Conducting routine inspections of the facility to identify areas that require additional cleaning. Communicating with other employees to ensure that cleaning schedules are coordinated with production schedules. Reporting any issues or concerns to management. Following all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications: Experience in cleaning or sanitation. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Strong attention to detail, Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team. Must be able to meet physical requirements of position to include standing, bending, kneeling, fitting in to tight spaces, climbing stairs/ladders and heights. Must be able to pass a drug test.
