This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who can work independently from prints, produce high-quality weldments, and maintain a strong focus on safety and precision. **Essential Responsibilities ** Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and related materials Complete welding operations to drawing tolerances and customer specifications Read, interpret, and work from detailed fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols Fit and weld components independently with minimal supervision Follow established welding procedures and required processes in accordance with AWS standards Work from Bills of Material and shop or customer-supplied prints Perform in-process inspections and measurements and accurately record data Maintain welding equipment, fixtures, tooling, and workstations Assist with general shop maintenance and fabrication tasks as assigned Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times **Skills & Qualifications ** High school diploma or equivalent required Vo-Tech or Technical School training preferred 3-5 years of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and welding techniques Experience with pipe or tube welding is preferred Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings Experience with additional fabrication processes is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality **Physical & Work Environment Requirements ** Ability to stand for extended periods of time Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift and maneuver materials as required Willingness to work overtime as required Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug testing You should be proficient in: Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: MIG Welder TIG Welder
