Were seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our Jacksonville team. This role is ideal for a detail-driven field leader who thrives on precision, communication, and supporting high-performing construction teams. Youll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality on every project we build. What Youll Do Leadership & Field Oversight * Lead all daily operations of the survey crew under the direction of the Survey Manager. * Supervise instrument and rod personnel to ensure efficient, accurate workflow. * Manage survey equipment, materials, and resource allocation for assigned work. * Coordinate with foremen and superintendents to support production and field requirements. Technical Survey Execution * Perform and oversee layout, finish grade work, as-builts, utilities, and field computations. * Interpret construction plans, drawings, control points, and elevations with accuracy. * Maintain cost awareness and use resources efficiently to support project schedules. * Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for daily field operations. Planning & Scheduling * Create and maintain accurate short-term work schedules staying at least one week ahead. * Minimize downtime by preparing alternate work plans in advance. * Communicate frequently with the Survey Manager and field leadership regarding priorities and progress. Directs the safe operation of the vessel and is responsible for the safety of the crew, tow, and cargo. Supervises crew members during vessel operating procedures and in demurrage ensuring company safety and environmental policies are followed. Maintains proper and valid vessel documentation on board vessel and ensures that all required reports and logs are completed accurately. Operates the tugboat and barge while these vessels are in transit to and from marine project locations in a safe and efficient manner. Demonstrates ability to maneuver, position, turn, slow, stop vessels as required by the field operation. Utilizes various hand signals for communicating with flagman on the barge deck. Utilizes tie-up ropes and wires to secure the tugboat to barges for towing purposes. Practices the "Rules of the Road" for operating vessels on inland waterways. Utilizes radio equipment on the tugboat to communicate with the U.S. Coast Guard, ships, tugboats, etc. Performs daily safety inspections of the tugboat and recognizes possible problem areas such as hull leaks, packing-gland leaking, tie-up cables and ropes, steering cables, wires, etc. Performs minor maintenance as may be required and understands basic functions of the boat engine, transmission, generator, water pump, cooling system, etc. Works closely with the General Foreman, Barge Foreman, Crane Operators, Welders, Helpers, and other skilled crafts persons to complete current projects in a safe and efficient manner. Ensures participation in Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance with State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs. Coordinates and maintains vessel maintenance and is responsible for keeping maintenance records up to date. Ensures general overall condition and upkeep of the vessel at all times. Directs crew members in preparation of tow, assembly of the towing rig, inspection, maintenance, and security of tow during transit. Conducts a fire and boat drill at least weekly with an entry in the vessel's official logbook relative to each fire and boat drill setting forth the date and hour length and time of drill. We have an excellent opportunity within our Procurement department at our Medley, Florida facility. Primary Job Responsibilities/Tasks: As a “working manager” coordinate the daily direction of the team and prioritize weekly tasks, including requisitions from operations, their approval and ensure timely responsiveness. Delegate and lead RFQ/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier performance evaluations to enhance Titan ‘s procurement strategy. Serve as operational liaison with aggregates & cement stakeholders on all projects related to capex, and/or outages ensuring bids tracking, communications, supplier involvement and execution Manage vendor selection, pricing analysis, and long-term contract negotiations to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials. Track backlog and overdue deliveries, ensuring compliance with supplier agreements and coordinate delivery schedules especially on outage or high priority projects Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel techniques to provide data-driven insights Partner with finance teams to forecast procurement budgets, track savings, and enhance financial performance. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management. Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to manage inventory levels efficiently. Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure procurement activities comply with legal and compliance requirements. Leverage Avetta platform to manage supplier safety, insurance and business risk Provide analytics and reports with operational and management KPI's as needed. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier selection and contracts on key projects serving as a liaison to the procurement and operations team in ensuring project delivery and milestone monitoring Required skills and qualifications: Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Related field OR Associate's degree + 8 years of Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Related field OR Strong proficiency in an ERP based environment), and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with supplier negotiations, and contract management. Proficient with all commonly used computer software, required. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive large-scale supply chain transformation projects. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and make strategic decisions under pressure. Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and EAM systems, preferred.
