Purpose The Packaging Technician position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Packaging department at an effective pace with accuracy to achieve the weekly objectives to package dried cannabis product appropriately. This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy, and participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Cultivation Tech II will report to the Lead of Packaging and the Manager of Post-Harvest. Pay for this role is $17.50/hour Essential Duties Procedures & Tasks Supporting the Lead and Manager of Packaging to package dried cannabis product appropriately. Fulfilling daily and weekly objectives that have been instructed and trained by Leadership, such as, packaging pre-pack and shelf flower product, creating and packaging joints and blunts, confirming the accuracy of the packaging, and assisting with order fulfillment for product exporting. Operating with equipment and machinery to package dried cannabis product as instructed and trained, safely. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment and machinery to sustain longevity and performance. Executing objectives to achieve desired quality and consistently throughout assignment. Organization and reporting data entries to spreadsheets and log as instructed. Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of spreadsheets and labels. Properly achieving packaging objectives to maintain quotas based on instruction from leadership. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas. Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Post-Harvest dept tasks, Production dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility. Training Requirements This position will follow the direction and training by the Lead of Packaging and the Manager of Post-Harvest assigned to the Buckeye Lake, OH Cultivation Facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliantly. Training towards PharmaCann's mission statement and leadership development. Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations. Workspace and Material Maintenance Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, tables, floors etc.). Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas. Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area. After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs. Compliance and Reporting This role involves final packaging checks to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant. Follow company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role. Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations. Report any improper action of compliance regulations. Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the Supervisorship of the department. Reporting data input as instructed for METRC plant tags. Supervision Works under the direct supervision of the Lead of Packaging and the Manager of Post-Harvest. Job Requirement This position is expected to be available as needed to adhere to the responsibilities within and throughout the job description. Must be eligible for the position based on state and federal laws and regulations. Working Conditions Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is part of a fast-paced environment. Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification. Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily. Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts. Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts with occasional overtime shifts to complete daily and weekly objectives Job Qualifications Work Experience Preferred 3 months employment with the company to apply. Preferred commercial cannabis and/or packaging experience for 1 year. One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment. Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is preferred. Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements. Demonstrates high attention to detail. In addition to the Radiology Technologist job functions, the QA Technologists is responsible for the following: Organize and file maintenance reports for each building in regards to dentistry and radiology x-ray equipment and ensure dentistry and x-ray equipment follow the Department of Health codes, policies and procedures. Participates in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control and maintenance of technical equipment. Establish a daily/weekly/monthly quality control routine for monitoring, evaluating, and maintenance of X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and stability. Documenting and maintaining records for the quality control program in accordance with applicable regulations, legal requirements, accrediting agencies and recommendations from equipment manufacturers. Performs research and participates in special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service. Work with our radiologists to obtain updated documentation of primary diagnostic monitors. Distribute/collect dosimeter badges from each employee/facility that works with x-ray equipment. Recommends area assignment of personnel to coordinate activities within the department with other activities and services and represents the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings. May be assigned duties and responsibilities of X-ray Director in regards to radiology department workflow. Minimum Qualifications Assignment Level III 1. For Supervisory Assignments: a valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. 2. For Specialized Imaging Assignments: a valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and possession of a current advanced- level certification for the performance of these procedures. Department Preferences Possession of a current valid license as a General Radiological Technologist issued by the State of New York. A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist. A current member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid BLS required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
