Shift/Schedule

* 40 hours per week
* Monday - Friday. 2:30 am - 10:30 am. Weekends, holiday and on call work as assigned.
* Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What does Nuclear Pharmacy contribute to Cardinal Health?

Nuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

* Acts a backup dispatcher assigning delivery routes to drivers and makes adjustments as needed
* Performs quality control checks as trained
* Processes incoming packages for pharmacy use
* Performs equipment checks for daily use
* Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
* Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
* Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
* Processes packages returned from customer locations
* Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
* Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
* Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
* Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
* Prior delivery driving experience a plus
* Ability to lift containers weighing up to 80 pounds
* Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
* Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work weekends or be in a weekend rotation
* Ability to work holidays or be in a holiday rotation
* Ability to work on call or be in an on call rotation
* Flexibility to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.
* Ability to use computers and tablets

As a Delivery Driver and Pharmacy Technician for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on apredetermined route and schedule. Success forincumbents in this role includes being able to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patientprescriptions promptly, safely and accurately.• Partner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned functions that prepare and process medications.• Follow policy and procedures for the proper non-sterile and/or sterile product compounding and assembly of clinical• products.• May prepare medications by measure, mix, count out, label and record amounts and dosages of highly regulated• medications according to prescription orders following Long Term Care Pharmacy policies, regulations and procedures.• May have responsibility for compliance functions.• Assist with workflow coordination• Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment• Rotate and work within assigned pharmacy workstations, to safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions all while• providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations. The typical pay range for this role is:

**Job Duties:**

+ Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery

+ Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel required

+ Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing

+ Insure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior

+ Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed

+ Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities

+ Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment

+ Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

+ Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy

+ Perform other duties as assigned
