While in the pharmacy, you will assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, our patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and we are providing caring service that exceeds patient expectations. You will learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. Responsibilities

Responsible for performing all of the dispensing duties of a pharmacist, that all customers receive safe and accurate dispensing, and for adhering to all State and Federal Pharmacy laws regarding the dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc. Successful candidate will also be responsible for expanding and enhancing clinical services in the ambulatory care setting including MTM in this position. Pharmacist will precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals. May be occasionally asked to float to other DC pharmacies to cover for PTO.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience required
Current/Clear DCPharmacist license
Experience:
Prior experience working in a fast paced retail setting
Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Basic Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:
