NEEDED: Pharmacist SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM, 8 hours per day, not to exceed 40 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have graduated from an accredited school of higher education as a pharmacist Must have a current state license. Inventorying medications and supplies, recording items that are low in stocking levels, and advising the Health Service Administrator and/or Assistant Health Service Administrator of medications that need ordering. Interacting with inmates regarding their medications and providing patient education about the medication. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations during the performance of the above duties. Professional technical observation of the pharmacy technician's pill line duties and dispensing duties will be scrutinized and reviewed by the Health Services Administrator and Assistant HSA.
