Each resident is assigned a home-base community pharmacy site where approximately 40% of time is spent. This community site, located in the Portland metro area, has
a dedicated team of experienced preceptors to mentor the resident through the year. The community practice site is also located near the division office where leadership and management learning experiences take place.
Through our partnership with Pacific University School of Pharmacy, our advanced community-based patient care learning experiences are supplemented with ambulatory care-based patient care at clinics affiliated with the university.
