Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: • Doctor of Pharmacy• One-year post-doctoral residency PREFERRED EDUCATION: • Two-year post-doctoral residency MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:• Clinical experience in providing drug therapy management under a collaborative practice agreement. Five years of this experience will be considered in lieu of post-doctoral residency. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:• Past preceptorship of pharmacy learners (Ex: interns, residents) • Basic Spanish communication skills REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:• Pharmacist license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy• BLS/ACLS within 3 months of hire• Board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties within two years of hire• Completion of a Postgraduate year two (PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency. Five years of pharmacy experience as described above will be considered in lieu of residency. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:• Completion of a Postgraduate year two (PGY-2) Ambulatory Care Residency REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR)• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Network or the Military Training Network
