Job Summary: The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for operational and compliance duties as well as routine operations of the department. Job Summary: The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for operational and compliance duties as well as routine operations of the department. When on duty the PIC will fill orders for drugs, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide drug information and is responsible for all clinical aspects of patient drug therapy.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, audits and inspections.
* Manage inventory/returns/recalls and ensure proper storage of medications.
