The new regulations allow for a one-time temporary license for up to 1 year, during which time a Technician must successfully complete requirements to become certified and meet all other State of Michigan requirements for a Full Pharmacy Technician License. UMHS Pharmacy Department provides coaching and additional information to support Technicians to become certified and licensed.

Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures.

Ensures that all staff meet/exceed minimum competency standards and encourage/support staff to continue professional development. Supports management by providing supervision, guidance, and support for all assigned areas. Participates in the planning, organization, and implementation of new programs and activities. Participates in strategies to increase market share, reduce cost, and improve patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree Pharm.D. or Bachelor degree in pharmacy.
Preferred residency training
3 years of relevant experience Clinical Pharmacist Experience Required
1 year of relevant experience or Pharmacy Residency plus a minimum of 1 year hospital experience. Required

As a Pharmacist In Charge you will:
Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in key operational areas including scheduling, purchasing, and clinical responsibilities.
