West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:
150 beds
A 37-bay emergency department
Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
Endoscopy suites
Cardiac catheterization labs
An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
This position has a heavier emphasis on daily clinical work such as antimicrobial stewardship and ICU rounds. Work schedule will be 5 days x 8-hour shifts.

1. Current state Registered Pharmacist License.2. Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.3. B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.4. BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

State pharmacy license in good standing.
