An applicant for registration as a pharmacy technician in training must register for Sanford provided (or equivalent) ASHP accredited education and obtain national certification approved by the board of pharmacy within the board of pharmacy's timelines. The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) are approved certification bodies.
