They also oversee and perform periodic inventory counts and validation in the inventory system. Pharmacy Liaison: · Act as liaison for the Pharmacy department · Communicate with doctors, nurses, and hospitals regarding patient care · Perform triplicate request and being able to follow up in a timely matter · Being able to communicate well with the pharmacy staff and supervisor · Coordinate triplicate requests and their documentation as appropriate including exemption forms for all narcotic patients 4. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. 5. Participate in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator. 6. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested. 7. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy. 8. Current knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations. 4. Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail. Ability to use good judgment and work with minimal direction. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express technical issues in “layman” terms.
