It also will require enough physical dexterity and fine motor skills to type, manipulate syringes, and work with delicate equipment and devices. The physical demands and work environment require enough flexibility and strength to undergo donning sterile garb from head to foot with all skin covered and the ability to pass medical clearance to wear an OSHA 95 respiratory mask. Trains new and existing personnel on medication dispensing and medication adherence processes. Meets with Med/Pharm Techs on a weekly basis or as needed to ensure a successful and efficient Medication Adherence/HEDIS Part D program. Collaborates with the Market Clinical Manager to balance Pharm/Med Tech staffing across the market to ensure adequate coverage. Reviews medication incident reports and identifies opportunities for improvement to prevent future errors. Escalates significant issues to the attention of market leadership with recommendations for solutions while maintaining open communication with Medication COE for additional support, tools and resources. Working hours are regular daytime hours but are subject to change. The time spent on the production floor may be for extended periods of time within a manufacturing facility. Must be willing and able to wear PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, and other devices or equipment that may be required.
