Schedule
* Full-Time 40 hours per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00a to 4:00p. Possible weekend coverage due to PTO on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00a to 6:00a. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, and opening shifts. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business needs.
Responsibilities in this role
Under the immediate direction of a qualified licensed Staff Pharmacist, you will be trained to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy. Many of your duties will include:
* Assists pharmacist and other pharmacy staff in preparing facility for daily operations through cleaning, equipment and quality control testing.
* Follows standard operating procedures to facilitate ongoing pharmacy operations.
* Collects and processes customer orders to ensure efficient communication and timely delivery of medications to patients.
* Performs administrative pharmacy tasks, answers questions and assists customers to facilitate pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.
* Maintains pharmacy safety through following and recording completion of daily infection control procedures.
* Takes direction from other pharmacy techs to develop skills and knowledge of pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
* National pharmacy technician registration/license preferred
* Past clean room environment experience is a plus
* Strong customer service skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Manual dexterity required for occasional reach, lifting and holding of small objects.
* Demonstrated manual dexterity in order to dispense doses.
* Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
* May require vendor credentialing
* Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
* Intermediate computer skills (ability to use computers and tablets).
* Flexibility to work various shifts

The Position:
The Therapy Care Specialist will work with SoleoRx TCMC model and utilize national and local resources to facilitate high quality care of a patient with specialty pharmacy needs. The Therapy Care Specialist will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist to oversee logistics of a patient's dispense and prescription maintenance, assessment data capture, and serves as the point person to coordinate patient care across all layers of the patient care continuum while on service with Soleo Health. Responsibilities include:
Act as single point of contact for specialty patients and as liaison with Soleo branch personnel to coordinate timely medication dispense and delivery
Works under supervision of specialty pharmacist and/or branch pharmacist to capture assessment data, ascertain patients supply needs, and schedule new and refill medication deliveries
Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports as needed
Answer phones and warm transfer call to appropriate location, monitor incoming faxes, and monitor TCMC refill queues
Send orders to physicians for signature
Work with intake/reimbursement staff to maintain active patient insurance coverage and actively pursue authorizations and re-authorizations with the auth/billing staff at the branch level
Documentation of all patient interaction and care coordination in the designated system of record for clear and consistent communication
Complete therapy specific training as required
Hours:
M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday rotation once a quarter

Requirements
Prior experience in home infusion, compounding and/or specialty pharmacy required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Registered Pharmacy Technician required

Conduct return to stock weekly by pulling scripts and letting patients know on Wednesday or Thursday and reversing them on Monday.

Conduct environmental monitoring (e.g., air and surface sampling) in cleanrooms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform visual inspection of finished drug products.
Maintain incubation schedules of environmental monitoring sample plates and document results in associated reports and batch records.
Maintain accurate and thorough records of all testing and inspections.
Ensure all documentation complies with FDA 503B regulations, USP standards, and internal SOPs.
Review batch records and verify that all procedures were followed correctly.
Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, USP , USP, and other applicable guidelines.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) when non-conformities are identified.

Assist with external, regulatory inspections.
Maintain quality records (equipment calibration and maintenance, training, deviation and noncompliance investigations, environmental monitoring, Certificate of Analysis, clean room certification etc.).
Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Receive, store, and log in samples for testing analysis.
Participate in investigations into any deviations, out-of-specification results, or product complaints.
Collaborate with QA to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Compounding, cGMP, and/or laboratory experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Technician is responsible for ensuring safe preparation and dispensing of intravenous hazardous and non-hazardous medications.
Technician should practice correct usage of PPE, including compliance with regulatory requirements mandating PPE be donned across all aspects of hazardous drug handling.
Technicians should play a role in embracing CSTDs for preparation of anticancer medications, including involvement in the evaluation process and familiarity with regulatory standards.
Technicians shall be fully trained in the storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous drugs per employer, state, and national guidelines; this training shall occur before preparing or handling hazardous preparations and the effectiveness of the training should be verified by testing specific techniques. All training should be documented, and competency should be reassessed and documented at least every 12 months.
Technicians should be trained on hazardous drug exposure and spill control, including treatment of individuals accidentally exposed to hazardous medications and on the disposal of hazardous medications.
Technicians may aid in CADD pump preparation upon demonstration of competency.
Technicians should support multiple aspects of investigational drug management, including inventory, information and record keeping, and preparation of investigational products for dispensing.
Technicians should minimize medication waste through monitoring compliance with policies and procedures including dose rounding and optimizing drug use through schedule coordination.
Pharmacy technicians should carry out daily purchasing activities and assist with vendors, group purchasing organizations, and manufacturer contracts.
Technicians should promote inventory control strategies, including minimization of expired products, promotion of adequate medication turnover, and alignment with product-line purchasing, to ensure inventory control management of high-cost items while reducing overall stock supplies.
When receiving products, pharmacy technicians should employ special precautions for hazardous substances and ensure fidelity of drug product specific shipping and handling requirements.

Education, Experience, and Licensure
Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician at the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
Understanding and demonstrating proper aseptic technique as outlined in USP and USP .
Compounding and dispensing hazardous medications is highly preferred.
Technicians may attain the necessary knowledge base in a variety of ways, ranging from on-the-job training to online or publication-based training, employer-based structured didactic learning, and formalized study with programs that have proper accreditation status.

A pharmacy technician assists a pharmacist in the process of filling a prescription. The technician will perform pharmaceutical care tasks under the control and guidance of a licensed pharmacist. A technician must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy and obtain continuing education hours pursuant with that registration yearly.
Qualifications for the job...
High school education or equivalent required.
Ability to read and write, prepare and interpret written instructions and make arithmetical calculations.
Require basic typing ability of 20 wpm to access data in pharmacy computer system.
Certification as a pharmacy technician required.
Six months' of continuous experience in a pharmacy position with I.V. admixture service experience.

Job Description
A Sterile Processing Technician in a 503B outsourcing facility plays a critical role in maintaining the sterility and safety of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs). This position ensures all equipment, instruments, and work environments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for pharmaceutical production in compliance with federal and state regulations, including USP , , and FDA 503B standards
Job Activities and Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize equipment and instruments using appropriate techniques (e.g., autoclaves, sterilizers, and chemical disinfectants).
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of sterilization equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Adhere to all FDA 503B outsourcing facility regulations and USP guidelines.
Monitor and report biological indicator results from sterilization cycles.
Document cleaning and sterilization activities accurately in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Prepare and package sterile instruments, tools, and materials for use in aseptic compounding.
Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before and after sterilization.
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
Ensure proper storage of sterilized equipment and materials in designated areas.
Follow aseptic techniques and gowning procedures in cleanroom environments.
Assist in maintaining a cleanroom environment through proper cleaning and disinfection practices.
Work closely with compounding technicians, pharmacists, and quality assurance personnel.
Participate in training sessions and quality improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in sterile processing or a healthcare setting is strongly preferred. Experience in a 503B facility or pharmacy compounding is a plus.
Familiarity with USP , , and FDA 503B regulations.
Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
Proficiency in handling sterilization equipment and aseptic techniques.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods

Qualifications
Must be a high school graduate or have the equivalent. Must be currently registered or eligible for registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Alabama. Pharmacy technician certification and/or pharmacy experience preferred. Must be able to operate a computer, calculator, and a telephone. transfer carts and other related pharmacy equipment. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental - Possible exposure to disease, infection and hazardous materials.
Physical - Able to stand, walk, reach, sit, crouch and stoop for extended periods of time. Must be able to carry objects weighing 35 pounds. Must be able to transfer carts, push a cart or any other pharmacy equipment. Requires good motor coordination with good manual and finger dexterity. Hearing and vision must be normal or corrected to within normal range. Physical presence onsite is essential as is the ability to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Psychological - Must have the ability to communicate and interact with staff and patients of all ages according to the DCH Behavioral Standards.
