The pharmacy technician prepares and distributes medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. These duties include but are not limited to: filling and labeling medications, refilling Pyxis, delivering medications to patient care areas, preparing IV admixture solutions, answering the telephone and directing the call to the appropriate staff.
