Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and involves standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and walking intermittently throughout the day. Shifts are scheduled on a two-week rotation, with opening shifts from 8am to 4:30pm and closing shifts from 12pm to 8:30pm, Monday through Friday. Technicians are expected to work every other weekend from 8am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Physical demands include finger dexterity to operate office equipment, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and visual acuity for reading fine prints. The role requires close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus, as well as the ability to hear normal voice sounds. The environment complies with safety, attendance, and dress code standards.

Overview
A freestanding ER in Tyler, TX is seeking a
Pharmacy Technician
to join their team. The Pharmacy Technician will strive to provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient's sense of comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities for the Pharmacy Technician
Stocking each assigned location with medications.
Stocking medical carts and cabinets at all locations.
Monitoring refrigerated medications, making sure they are up to date, and not expired, and stocked.
Rotating medications when stocking and verifying medications have expiration date stickers on them.
Checking temperature logs at each location daily.

Requirements and Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician will maintain flexibility and availability for on‐call and any coverage requirements that are not otherwise met by the Pharmacy Department staff.
Customer service experience: demonstrated ability in customer service practice related to direct patient care in a high volume, high stress environment.
