The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. The incumbent is responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Duties and responsibilities include assisting and coaching pharmacy technicians in the operation of the pharmacy systems and ensures compliance to the company's policies and procedures. Employees model and deliver the highest level of quality healthcare while working directly with patients and their families, doctors and other medical personnel. Supervision is received from the Pharmacist who reviews work for attainment of desired objectives and conformity with departmental policies and procedures through conferences, personal inspections and review of report.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews and complies with the Pharmacy Technician Code of Conduct.
Helps healthcare providers and patients by greeting them in person or by phone; answering questions and request; referring inquiries to the Pharmacist that require their attention.
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level: anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
Maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques, creates claims for order errors and damaged goods.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performs duties assigned by the Pharmacist such as utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct and checking for possible interactions.
Reports, immediately, prescription error to the Pharmacist and adheres to company policies and procedures in regard to pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
Follows all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, Medicare and Co-pay requirements.
Engages patients by offering assistance, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collects and handles cash as required.
Directs and assists team members as needed to maintain workflow and meet/ complete deadlines as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on duty.
Processes claims for 3rd party reimbursement efficiently and correctly to third-party insurance providers to obtain payment.
Earns and maintains certification and licensure as required per state regulations. Attends training and completes as requested by the Pharmacy Manager and acquires continuing education credits.
Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Non-Sterile Compounding Technician Supervisor to lead daily operations within our compounding department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in preparing a variety of non-sterile dosage forms including troches, creams, nasal sprays, solutions, drops, rapid dissolve tablets (RDTs), and more. This role requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and compliance with USP and standards.
Compounding Preparation
Accurately measure, weigh, and mix ingredients for non-sterile medications based on master formulation records
Utilize and maintain compounding equipment (balances, mixers, homogenizers, ovens, etc.)
Compound a wide range of preparations, including:
Troches
Creams, gels, ointments
Nasal sprays
Oral drops, solutions, suspensions
Rapid Dissolve Tablets (RDTs)
Supervise and support day-to-day compounding activities and technician performance
Follow procedures for hazardous drug (HD) handling per USP
Maintain clean and organized workspaces to prevent cross-contamination
Collaborate with pharmacists and QA to ensure batch accuracy and quality
Support inventory management and proper labeling/storage of materials
Assist in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Quality Control
Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure product accuracy and integrity
Comply with USP , USP , and internal SOPs at all stages of production

Qualifications
Required
Fluent in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License

Minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisory or lead technician

The Opportunity
The Sterile Compounding Technician will be responsible for compounding sterile GLP-1 medications, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering strictly to regulatory standards and internal SOPs. The Pharmacy Hub is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to join our high-volume pharmacy fulfillment center. Under the supervision of a Lead Technician, you will play a key role in accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders. Your responsibilities will include medication selection, scanning, verification, and preparation for final pharmacist review. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Key Responsibilities Prescription Order Fulfillment
Accurately retrieve medications from inventory based on prescription details.
Verify medication name, strength, dosage form, and quantity.
Perform visual checks to ensure product accuracy and integrity.
Scanning and Verification
Use barcode technology to scan and verify medications.
Confirm all scanned information matches the prescription.
Report any discrepancies or inventory issues to the Lead Technician or Shift Supervisor.
Workflow and Order Processing
Prioritize orders according to urgency and shift goals.
Place verified medications into designated bins or totes for final review.
Maintain accurate order tracking in the pharmacy system.
Inventory Management
Return excess or unused medications to inventory.
Monitor stock levels and request replenishments as needed.
Report expired, damaged, or low-stock items to supervisors.
Compliance & Quality Control
Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, SOPs, and safety standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Support quality assurance and suggest workflow improvements when identified.
Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with pharmacists, lead technicians, and team members.
Assist others to meet shift goals and ensure smooth operations.
Participate in onboarding or training of new staff, when requested.
Workplace Maintenance
