We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves handling specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies, processing pharmacy orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper storage of drugs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy setting and be committed to providing high-quality service. Responsibilities Handle medication of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies following regulations and company policies. Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included. Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory. Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products. Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed. Essential Skills Pharmacy experience Knowledge of prior authorization processes Experience with compounding Must be at least 18 years old Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification preferred, but not required PharmD Experience in a retail pharmacy Pharmacy License Work Environment The work schedule is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the goal of becoming permanent. The role requires adherence to dress codes suitable for a professional pharmacy setting.
