Job Summary and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Materials Management Manager or Supervisor, the Materials Management Technician is responsible for disinfecting medical equipment and procedure carts according to department procedures. The technician receives, stores, issues, and delivers medical supplies and equipment, and prepares equipment and supplies for shipping when necessary. This role includes performing daily counts of par-level locations using hand-held technology or the materials management information system, as well as entering data for stock items issued from inventory.
