We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy! "This position offers a unique blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork! In this role you will be responsible for both kiosk management and working within our pharmacy operations, including driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas by driving from our Pharmacy location to the Kiosks. You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments.

Key job responsibilities
* Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle
* Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return
* Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment
* Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
* Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
* Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders
* Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
* Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
* Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
* Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
* Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
* Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
* Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
* Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.
* Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
* Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours
Physical Requirements:
* During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):
* Driving for long periods of time (8+hrs)
* Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching
* Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight
* Manual dexterity of hands and wrists
Basic Qualifications
* Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License [FOR SPECIFIC STATES ONLY] or ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License through the State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of start date, if required by State Board of Pharmacy
* Active and unrestricted in-state Driver's License
* Clean driving record that passes Amazon's Motor Vehicle Checks, to be rechecked annually. Driving privileges' will be revoked if your DMV reports indicates you have received a ticket for one or more of the following violations:

What You Will Do

Pyxis Technology Management
Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of Automated Dispensing Cabinets (i.e., Pyxis) by performing the following, not limited to: refilling, loading and unloading medications, utilizing barcode technology, completing RX checks, pulling override reports, fulfilling the stock out reports, assisting with inventory discrepancies.
Medication Safety
Proactively identifies potential medication safety improvement opportunities such as look alike, sound alike medication storage and packaging issues, delivery / storage / security related issues, inventory management issues, etc.

Responsibilities
Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy
Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels
Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy
May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory
Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding
Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner
May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction
Assists in the training of new employees
Also performs at least one of the following:
Works in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room;
Works with automated machine to prepack drugs;
Manages inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and identify expired medications, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on Hand;
Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry);
Mixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood
Services facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow)
Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology. Ability to operate a computer; ability to recognize and identify medications. Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective oral communication. Pharmacy Technician license (as required by state).
Desired: Long Term Care pharmacy experience & National Pharmacy Technician License.

Responsibilities:
* Appropriately maintains inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, storing under proper conditions of refrigeration and security, and re-order as needed. Disposes unclaimed medication and documents on required log.
* Completes all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patients' insurance requirements. Enter information on all drugs and manufacturers into the computer, and maintain all computer files. Registers eligible patients via med data system and complete application.
* Follows up to ensure that medications are received for applications sent. Maintains log of all med data medication that is received.
* Generates prescription labels and receipts, including the entering of all necessary information into the computer.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Performs routine maintenance and refilling of medication to the pharmacy robot cell.
* Process drug shipments, including unpacking, affixing price stickers, stocking of shelves and refrigerator, and paper work on invoices.
* Responsible for general housekeeping of pharmacy area according to established maintenance schedule.
* Schedules appointments for patients deemed eligible for med data services and patients in need of refills. Informs patient when medication is ready for pick up. Responsible for receiving payments from patients and reporting the total sale at the end of the day.
Requirements:
* California Pharmacy Technician License.
* Formal training as a Pharmacy Technician.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.
* Basic computer literacy (i.e., use a system to manage and schedule appointments, and access electronic medical record information).

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This position is onsite and located in Okinawa, Japan.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physicians requests, monitoring fordrug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports anddocumentation.
Assist with supply process duties including assisting with stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, and producing not in stock reports as directed by Government Supervisor.
Utilize pharmacy computer and robotic systems in accordance with MTF protocols.
Participate in executing the Emergency Preparedness Plan (drills and actual emergencies) as scheduled by the MTF (typically semiannually).

HCW shall be in good standing and under no sanction or suspension by the Federal Government.
Possess and maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Healthcare ProviderCourse.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently and maintain good communication skills with patients and other health care personnel.
Ability to pass all background/suitability checks.
A valid drivers license; ability to travel locally as needed.
