As a Pharmacy IV Technician you will:
Clean, maintain, and monitor the Sterile Compounding Room in accordance with USP 797 and state regulatory standards. Compound sterile preparations, including those from non-sterile powders, within a Class 100 cleanroom environment.
Prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents and Alere high-risk pregnancy patients, following established policies and quality standards.
Support quality assurance (QA) processes, ensuring compliance with all compounding and documentation requirements.
Assist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communication with nursing homes and Alere clients.
Stage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and clean infusion pumps and other sterile compounding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety.
Replenish and maintain Emergency Drug Kits (EDK) for long-term care facilities.
Perform shipping and tracking of Alere packages via third-party overnight logistics providers.
Support inventory management, filing, answering phones, and stocking areas within the IV department.
Collaborate with the Lead IV Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor to maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.
Promptly report any operational or compliance concerns related to USP 797 standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist, IV Supervisor, or Director of Pharmacy.

About the Job
The Compounding Technician will assist in the compounding activities inside classified areas. Remain gowned inside an ISO 7 environment for 6+ hrs.
Pay: $27.00/hourly USD
2:00pm-10:30pm EST
Key Responsibilities
* High level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask
* Responsible for assisting in the set-up of daily activities including staging of batches, equipment cleaning/sanitization and set-up, and documenting in batch records and logbooks.
* Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing error / deviations and completing corrections in a timely manner
* Maintain adherence to SOP's, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule
* Aid in inventory control by properly documenting components and materials used on corresponding paperwork
* Ability to receive and maintain a high-level gowning and media fill qualification (training will be provided)
* Be able to complete periods of standing up to 6hrs per shift and be able to twist and lift product material during job shift
* Assume other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 2 years' related experience.
* A strong understanding of cGMP and GDP in a manufacturing setting.
* Gowning experience.
* Ability to frequently lift/move materials and objects (up to 40 lbs)
* Ability to work overtime on weekends as needed.
* Able to take direction and work on production requirements as needed (after training).
* Quality minded and detail oriented.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Solid verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Excellent attendance and punctuality.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
* If needed, employee must have their prescription glasses within their first 7-days of employment.
* Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
* Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
* Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
