Duties and Responsibilities: · Providing excellent customer service to all patients at all times · Preparation of prescriptions to include data entry and physically packaging the prescription to the point of final verification by the pharmacist. · Assist with ordering and checking in drugs from the wholesaler · Follow all pharmacy policies and procedures as well as Charleston ENT P&P · Assisting in maintaining an organized clean pharmacy · Assist in providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care · Follow all state and federal laws and regulations · Keep license and registrations up to date with Board of Pharmacy and National Certification body · Pulls and segregates outdated, damaged, and recalled drugs. · Operate all pharmacy computer systems as well as those of Charleston ENT appropriate for pharmacy duties. · Must be able to communicate with Doctor's, PA's, and nursing staff in a professional manner. · Assist pharmacist with any pharmaceutical duty that he/she deems appropriate · Other job duties as assigned Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED certification required. Graduate of Technician training school or AHP training equivalent. Must be registered with SC Board of Pharmacy. Must hold SC State Certification.
