Basic Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.

This position will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for a newly-established pharmacy located within the HealthPartners Specialty Center at 401 Phalen Boulevard in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The pharmacy's primary purpose is to enhance patient‑specific medication outcomes and provide comprehensive support for patients' prescription needs through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in the ambulatory care setting.
The pharmacy will operate under the oversight of Regions Hospital Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacist-in-Charge will be accountable for directing the day-to-day operations of pharmacy services and ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This role will provide professional pharmaceutical services and maintain pharmacy operations, including reviewing and verifying medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, delivering drug information to patients and healthcare providers, and performing additional duties as assigned. Exceptional customer service skills and proven supervisory experience are critical to success in this role. The position is currently assigned to weekday daytime hours. Weekend, evening, and holiday coverage are not currently required; however, scheduling expectations may be revised in the future based on evolving patient care needs.

Pharmacist-in-Charge Responsibilities & Duties:
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations including proper recordkeeping, prescription processing, and controlled substance management.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure efficient pharmacy operations, optimize daily workflows, uphold best practice standards, and promote the highest level of patient care.
* Supervise and manage pharmacy staff as it relates to the procurement, dispensing, and storage of medications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain written procedures directing activities of pharmacy technicians in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to protocols and standards.
* Address and resolve customer concerns in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.

Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:
Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
Leads team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
Structures and organizes workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and providing clinical services.
Develops and follows up on long term care (LTC) business through immediate communication and attention to the needs of the nursing homes, group homes and assisted living residences.
Identifies Long Term Care and Specialty business and communicates opportunities with Marketers.
Dispenses medications, related supplies, and provides all clinical pharmacy services.

A pharmacy license, or the ability to receive a pharmacy license without any federal sanctions.
A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
